G10 is a very useful but on occasion, dangerous, command that can change a number of values that can lead to minor bumps, right up to machine bending crashes. I’ll leave this one until last as I really don’t want anybody trying it out and moving say a Z workshift and not realizing they have, then bending what could be very expensive machines. I know this may piss some people off but, really, moving say the workshift and say Tool 6’s entire geometry and not realising that change sticks can have catastrophic results.

It is incredibly useful though so worth keep checking back for a full and proper explanation later.
